This week’s session is being hosted by Steve Cooper. Steve is a multi-instrumentalist, children’s performer and a school social worker.
Steve performs at Farmers Markets, festivals, retirement centers and schools. Since Covid-19’s arrival, Steve has been doing virtual “storytime shows” on FACEBOOK Live for children twice a week. Steve Cooper has many (probably too many) videos of various groups he plays with, some solo performances and his Beatle Group “I Want To Hold Your Band” at https://www.youtube.com/user/sklomper1. The most recent original material has been songs to cheer us up at this crazy time. They are the “Social Distancing Trilogy +1” at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6UzeD1pp6ks&list=PLSgNg0vltMw0ayo6OUFg3AT3pAp64XI9y
Seeing as Sunday’s jam is taking place on the last day of May, Steve will feature 2 original songs that were inspired by the 5th month. “Moms” is a ukulele celebration of mothers everywhere, and “Ode To Harry Truman” was a local radio mainstay 40 years ago when Mt. St. Helens erupted.

Helpful Zoom Tips
Zoom is like a video chat with multiple people. Just click the link, and then it will prompt you to download the software. You can run it on your computer, but you can use it on your phone too. It will be difficult to have everyone playing altogether because of latency, so the leader will mute everyone during the song so you’ll hear just the leader singing and playing, and then we’ll unmute between songs so that we can chat.
Have your music book available on a different device than you’re using for the Zoom (for example, Zoom on your computer or phone, and music on your tablet).”See” you Sunday!
We can only have 100 people on at a time, first come first served.
