Who’s Hosting This Sunday’s Virtual Jam?
This week’s jam is hosted by Evie Ross who lives in Scotland! Here is what she has to say about herself:
I started learning ukulele 8 yrs ago a year before I retired. I was so enamoured with the ukulele, I practiced at night from 9-12, stopping only because I was working full time. I belong to three groups. Each group has different musical choices but my original band has music arranged by our leader. I find that the tiny uke brings so much joy to everyone who plays and loves it as much as I do. I would like to share also that I am a stroke survivor. I lost the use of my whole left side 4 years ago and was in hospital for 2.5 months. But with my strong faith and physiotherapy, I was able to reach my new normal and I recovered my left hand which was vital to playing the uke as I was right handed. So nothing is impossible. I hope I can give hope to all who think they can’t play. PPP – practice practice practice.
