Come Join Us for Our Next Ukulele Jam!

How are you all doing? Hopefully you all are safe and have power. If you want to get out of the house, you should join us for our next jam. I’m filling in this week for someone who has no power right now, so you get me two sessions in a row. Luckily Maurecio will co-host this session with me.

Our song list is something that people of all musical backgrounds can enjoy. For example, we start with a classic Bob Dylan tune, “If Not For You”. And for those of you who like a little bluegrass sound, we’ve added “Cold Rain and Snow” for some toe-tapping fun. Next, we bring some country flavor to the mix with “Forever and Ever Amen”, a hit by Randy Travis. We love the upbeat and catchy chorus of this song and we think you will too!

If you’re a fan of old TV shows, our medley of the “Flintstones” and “Gilligan’s Island” theme songs is sure to put a smile on your face. And for those of you dreaming of warmer climates, we’ll sing “Snowbird” and “Waikiki Chickadee”. You’ll feel like you’re on a tropical vacation in the midst of winter.

For those of you who love classic rock tunes, we’ve included “Tequila Sunrise” by the Eagles and “Hazy Shade of Winter” by the Bangles. And for those who appreciate more modern hits, we’ll play “Something So Strong” by Crowded House and “Let It Go” from Disney’s Frozen.

We’ll also throw in some Latin flair with “Summer Samba” and Neil Diamond’s “Cracklin Rosie”. With such a diverse range of songs on our playlist, there’s bound to be something that everyone will love playing and singing along to. Hope you are able to join us!
